The NBA season is long and arduous. So are the NBA Playoffs. There is a point where the rubber meets the road in the NBA season. We have come to that point. The NBA Playoffs have hit high gear. Every game now counts, every result an affect on who will be NBA Finals Champion.

The Detroit Pistons rolled through the Orlando Magic, the Magic showing their youth, and the Pistons showing their experience. The Pistons go back to the Eastern Conference Finals for a remarkable 6th straight year. However, the Pistons can lay eggs with the best of them, thinking they are better than they really are. Let's see how the Pistons play from here, where the competition will be at its highest.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have impressed in their series versus the Boston Celtics. Although down 3-2, the Cavs have taken it to the heavily-favored Celtics. The Celtics have been horrible on the road, looking old and confused in going 0-5 away from Chowder-land. The Celtics, 7-0 at home in these NBA playoffs, are fortunate to have home-court advantage to save their season. Hey, it was earned, but they are leaning very heavily upon it.

The New Orleans Hornets and Los Angeles Lakers are both one game away from a Western Finals Showdown. The San Antonio Spurs are looking to repeat as NBA Finals Champions, but not so fast. Speaking of fast, Chris Paul is looking to finish off the Spurs, without needing a game seven back in New Orleans.
